Under the patronage of the president of university of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, the center for strategic studies, in collaboration with the center for ontinuing education, conducted a training program titled:
“Advanced Research Capacity Development in the Humanities.”
The program took place from February 15 to 19, 2026, and brought together a select group of researchers and professionals with interests in political and security studies.
The course was designed as part of the center’s broader mission to enhance researchers’ analytical proficiency and provide them with solid methodological tools for examining political and security-related issues. It also sought to strengthen participants’ ability to assess regional and global developments and to anticipate their potential future consequences.
The training agenda addressed several core areas:
1.Political and security analysis
2.Strategic planning
3.Research methodology
At the end of the program, the organizers highlighted the importance of sustaining such academic initiatives, given their vital contribution to advancing researchers’ professional capabilities and consolidating the Center’s role as a reputable academic platform that supports decision-makers and serves the wider scholarly community..
